These are fabulous doughnuts and much better than the commercial ones sold. I buy all my apples locally. In a climate where the Canadian farmer is struggling and communities are looking for ways to generate tourism and support for their region, I believe that having the apple cider doughnut as an official doughnut would be great. Areas north of here have the Butter Tart Trail. Perhaps, this could be the start of the Doughnut Trail as we do have other wonderful bakeries in the area.

The Apple Place has always been a great place to get quality apples direct from the farmer and to think it also has carried the apple Donut has just been a bonus! I have also gotten other vegetables there when they had them in stock....what a treat!

My grandson loves to visit apple place to see doughnuts being made,eating one is of course the best part of visit.
