We need to protect the animals we are charged with taking care of. This person and those who do similar acts have something terribly wrong with them. Who or what will be next? A child? We need to send a clear message that we won't stand for this!!!

They should also not ever be allowed to own another animal and have a registry like sex offenders.

Educating the general populatin is the strongest weapon...I work with animal rescue groups, and there is no end to the number of animals being abused...alot of these people that abuseanimals were products of abuse themselves...we need more early intervention programs in schools that teach empathy, compassion, and how to spot a potential abuser at a young age so some type of intervention can occur.The individuals that abuse animals also have a predisposition for child/domestic abuse

All life is precious, and abusing, violating, and grotesquely taking it is inexcusable - animals are helpless, innocent victims, and we, as their human advocates, must work harder to protect them.

Put that piece of shirt in for life I don't ever want to see that asshole ever on the streets I have 2 dogs and if anyone was to ever hurt them they would never be safe anywhere

Disgusting! And it's well known that most people who do this to animals, later move on to killing people. This issue needs much harsher punishments all around. Add my prayers for poir little Loki, who in no way deserved this.

What people don't seem to understand is that with this type of sociopath, the atrocities will only escalate. How long before he gets tired of torturing animals and moves on to children? Sociopaths don't get better; they only learn to be more clever at hiding their behaviors.
