Even Class 5 is to light of a sentence. How can anyone look into the eyes of any animal and not see it waits just to be loved.

Crulety to animals has got to be made a felony and I keep seeing that it is in the state of Colorado then I see where it is not. N. Dakota legislature has made cruelty to animals a felonly.

The current animal cruelty laws in terms of penalties, are EGREGIOUSLY LENIENT and desperately need to be changed to reflect the brutality of today's animal abuse cases. The current laws are FAILING MISERABLY not only in terms of justice, but in terms of serving as meaningful deterrents. Our companion animals are being UNMERCIFULLY BRUTALIZED as a result! GET TOUGH ON ANIMAL ABUSE!

This needs to be addressed and whomever commits cruelty towards an innocent animal who can't speak for themselves needs to be punished!All of Gods creatures should be respected.They all have souls,hearts and blood running through their veins
