One of the deadliest attributes of the aliens in the Alien films is that the creature bleeds acid for blood. If Aliens: Colonial Marines is to be a "spiritual successor" to Aliens, then the aliens should bleed acid for blood and the acid should affect the health of the marines who come into contact with it.
