I just lost my son to drugs. He spent 13 months in jail for his part in drugs. Was out a day an a half when someone in the drug ring in our community killed him.He was young man age 33. Left behind 2 young children and a girlfriend

Come on people keep sharing. We together can do something. We can take this as high as we need to. Find the right people let's stop the drugs now and change this for our kids future

THE only way to get the drugs out of are town is to get rid of Fred Lewis he is the reason why nothing is getting done in are town it's sad that even all the cops know about this and nothing gets done kid's can't even play at the park because of all the drugs and alcohol and other stuff that goes on in the park this is going on in are schools to we need to make a stand for are kids safety because the cops won't and neither will Fred Lewis so like in the old days with all grab a broom and let's clean up the trash and the drugs who is with me

It's a shame that our community has to sign a petition to get this situation taken care of. Something should have been done about this after the first overdose death. I pray that this will come to attention and taken care of. God bless!

Bruce I agree much more has to be done. I figured this was a start. We have to come together as a community to change our community. Even if that means we have to set up a meeting with everyone and work as a plan together

While I wholeheartedly agree that something needs to be done with the ongoing drug abuse problem in our community as well, as the surrounding communities, I strongly feel that more needs to be done than a simple petition. An affirmative plan of action needs to be agreed upon and implemented by the community in conjunction with the proper authorities in order to ensure a positive and long lasting outcome so that not only our community, but the surrounding communities as well, are allowed to flourish without the constant fear for the safety and well being of our friends, family and mostly the children of all surrounding areas. A good start would be a public meeting to discuss the issues at hand and how to properly proceed with the cleanup of our town. Far too long have these problems plagued our home. Now is time for action, not just talk and petitions without any real plan of affirmative action.

Glad my kids got put of there and started their lives in a different state. This has been going on way to long and people need to do something about it before more lives are claimed.

We live in Tawas but I work in Hale and our girls are in Hale often to see family and attend various events. We have seen things happening at the park that shouldn’t be happening period, let alone in a park, in front of children.

I've lived here 17 teen years and the drug problem and the glass doctor house is our of control I have kids that love here and we as a community don't need this in our town the drugs that go in and out of that house is so kning and the people that go in and out and never get cought .. something needs to be done
