Please stop this silly over-regulation philosophy. As well as the benefit to the community this well run festival is important to enrich the lives of the participants. People need other things to do than watch TV and football

Last year I was one of the security officers at the festival. In previous years, I have also been a patron. It is my belief, that with the proper risk management and analysis strategies, along with stringent measures to ensure safety first, along with land conservation, that this location can become a staple for this festival for many years to come, and bring an influx of much needed funds for the community as a whole.

Don't become another Nanny state like NSW! You won't win support in the next election especially with the younger population if you keep saying No to them

'Maitreya Festival' has become a modern equivalent of 'Woodstock' here in Victoria. A cultural icon representing the sum of it's participants - a positive experience that should be allowed to continue for all those thousands who so wish to enjoy the beauty of nature and music.

This is a beautiful festival, but if this decision is overturned they must work against the rubbish problem that was evident after last year.. it is the only negative thing they have against us maitreyans :)

This festival is great for the local community and also for people from all over Australia to visit and get to know their own Great Australian Outback better!
