Maitreya festival brings the community together so much time and effort has been put in by the local community and event organisers.. WE NEED MORE JOY AND LAUGHTER IN THE WORLD GIVE US MAITREYA

Actions like this are destroying the community in many ways. The community that participates, the local community and businesses and the countless people who create for countless unpaid hours just to be part of something in life that is fulfilling to them. You are crushing the hearts of many.

I live in a country City, Bathurst, and events like this are a huge boon for my local business. Our council see the value to the community and supports such events. You should too.

Disappointing effort on behalf of the council here. Within less than a month to go, theyre giving the event organisers grief. They need to think more about supporting locals.

Furthest thing from fair. The money raised to the community is simply incredible and cannot be overshadowed.

Maitreya festival brings so much positivity to the community, people attending and organisers. Wooroonook lake was the perfect location last year!

We gota support our brothers and sisters doing it tough in rural victoria. If we can give back by spending cash at the local towns generating business for them. Its all positive and we love maitreya festival. So its a win win for everybody.
