Lack of Maintenance at Littlefield Memorial Park

My parents, along with several other friends/relatives, are buried in this cemetery! The perpetual care of the cemetery is/was part of the deal and was paid for when plots were bought! There's Nothing I hate worse than thieves that take people's money and then not keep up their side of the agreement and that is basically what you, as owners, are doing and we do not appreciate it!! I do hope something will be done real soon. If not, just be prepared b/c you haven't heard the end of this!

Please take care of Memorial Park. Very frustrating for those that live a good distance from Lfd and for those of us getting too old to do it ourselves!

I was there a couple of months ago And lots of graves were covered in mud, the trees are so overgrown that you cannot see the headstones. People have paid lots of money to have their family there. They need respect !

My husband already cleans a section where my inlaws are buried.

The cemetery is horrible! I have several family members buried there. My grandparents, aunts and uncles, my dad, and now my brother. My brother passed in January and I asked them to please fill in his grave 2 months ago because it had sunk in so bad partly because of all the rain. They told me they would and it is not done yet. You can’t see the headstones for all the dirt and grass grown over them. This is a disgrace to our loved ones buried there and to all the family that trusted this would be taken care of.

It's sad how the cemetery looks.

I've been taking photos of MEMORIAL PARK Cemetery for several month now and have spoken to Penny Parker at Hammons and a lady at the Plain view funeral home. Lady at Plainview told me owners were not responsible for the care, I should contact Hammons. It is my understanding it is owned by the same couple so how is this not their responsibility??

It is bad bad out there. They should have to take care of it and soon.

Your company didn’t mind taking my family or any other families’ money...YOU are accountable for taking care of their grave sites!

I have over 10 family members buried there and it hurts me to see the-shape it’s in... I also have 2 plots for me and my daughter. You should be ashamed of allowing the perpetual care to stop.

We have grandparents buried there and you could not even see the markers. Shameful how the owners have let this go

I am deeply disappointed in the situation at Littlefield Memorial Park. My parents are buried there and this is certainly not what they expected nor is it what our family expected.

I feel like all memorial parks in this town could use a little bit of tlc. I totally agree with this.

Totally uncalled for. The lots were bought under the understanding that it would always be cared for. They have failed everyone.

Sad that it’s not taken care of. So grown up we could not find some of our family.
