Lack of Maintenance at Littlefield Memorial Park

My family is buried there.

Having several family members in this cemetery , I'm wondering why someone hasn't sued them.

I've been concerned about the looks of the cemetery for a while and I have even applied for a job to maintain that cemetery and didn't get hired.

My parents and grandparents are buried there. Someone needs to take care of their responsibilities, especially for those of us who live out of town. I'm so disappointed.

My grandparents are buried there and their headstone was completely destroyed. Chip has not done a thing about it.

We need to take care of our loved ones in the after life and your been payed to do so

If I had not known where my parents graves were I could not have found them. Their markers were completely covered. Makes me very upset with the condition the Memorial Park is in!!

I have several family members there and my son, it hurts me to see the area in such terrible shape. I live out of town and to take flowers to my son's grave and have to carry equipment to clean around his grave is get hard for me as this last time I went by I had to use my bare hands to clean around his grave just to be able to see his head stone. I hope they will begin to maintain the cemetery after this petition and that they will keep it maintained.

Tom and employees ,and even me, worked very hard at keeping Littlefield Memorial Park in good shape. One must remember that this is not the size of a front yard and it is dessert, but you do what you have to do to keep it up. During watering season, Tom and crew would water constantly and around the clock. He and crew kept it mowed, markers trimmed and swept, regularly. I am sorry and do not understand why the Summers are letting it go.

I do not currently reside in Littlefield but have many many family members and friends buried in this cemetery and am definitely not impressed with the maintenance there it has definitely gone downhill I'm not sure what all the problem is but it seems like pure lazyness idk

I agree the cemetery is in bad shape and the Summers need to step up and do what is right!

Doyle and I have numerous friends and relatives buried here, including my parents and two sets of grandparents. The condition of the park is saddening and shameful. We also have plots reserved in the cemetery. Doyle is not with us now, but he would be most disappointed. This is an embarrassment to Littlefield, as a town, and to those who now call it home or get up there Maybe it is time to check into legal aspects. Where is the money designated for maintenance? We have several relatives burried in both cemeteries. We don't live there anymore.

I have aunts and uncles burried there i didnt knw why it was looking so trashy after Mr. Sawyer wasnt running Hammons anymr cuz now nobody cares
