Maintain the integrity of the LACCD Child Development Lab Schools

Labs like these provide hands-on experiences that our children, teachers, parents & communities benefit from. Let’s keep them open & running & let’s build more of them. The first three years of a child’s life are the most important and we must provide training and education so that our children, our future, do well.

This lab is very much needed !!!!

I totally support our Child development lab at West LA College.

This is vitally important! A child’s first few formative years will influence his life forever. Let’s give every child a great start! Let’s not cut any programs of child development or child development centers in our district. Children Are our future!

Please keep professors in early childhood centers.

Our Lab Schools help to educate our students, parents, and community. It is a win -win situation and must be continued and supported .

I wish we could see an increase on the hours of service. It would facilitate the life of our single parent students, and continue to provide practicum hours to our CDC Students.

I would support the Child Development Center Lab schools.

The child development center provides a high quality essential service for students with young children. Many of our students will be unable to attend classes and pursue their academic goals without this service.

The AFT Faculty Guild is completely behind this petition supporting our Child development Centers, the faculty, the classified employees and the students we serve.

Child Development Center faculty work in learning lab environment for practicum students and, therefore, should remain faculty who are hired and evaluated based on their qualifications as educators.
