all bridleway depts. have budgets so its about time we had some spent this way . I have nearly been killed at least 5 times in the last year due to speading angry cars or massive heavy lorries thundering down our small narrow lanes . enough is enough. Just a thought were mostly all taxpayers other sports get football /rugby pitches, tennis courts, swimming pools, cycle lanes, dog walking paths and areas what do we get .....Nothing!

I completely agree with the need for something to hopefully be done to improve the state of bridleways, ..so many of them seriously need maintaining. It was too late for me years ago, ..as I had a horrific horseriding accident & broke my neck due to the bad state of a local bridleway!! :/ ....but Wareham Council were useless & so unhelpful, & just wriggled out of any responsibility for the state of the bridleway, ....so hence i'm petitioning for this ..so it wont be too late for my daughter, (myself occasionally), or any other riders!

So many bridle ways are overgrown and un-kept which forces for horses into roads which causes more issues for both horse riders and motorists

Bridleways need maintenance and developing to help prevent horse road accidents, there are way too many crazy drivers to deal with these days & less places to ride off road!

Any horse over 16hh struggles to fit on most bridal ways due to how overgrown they've become...and the amount of fly-tipping on some of them.

Hi they need to be better maintained. At the mo I'm fighting for a bridleway to be cleared off a fallen tree that fell two years ago.

Roads are getting seriously dangerous for riding horses on - because of so many motorists are far too impatient to drive past horses wide and slow. Properly maintained Bridleways are essential for us to ride safely.

Very few bridleways as it is and the ones we do have are pretty much unride-able as so overgrown! Needs action now!

It makes no sense that we have designated bristle paths , but cannot use them
