My kids go to school here and I really hope they keep it this way. Columbus was a monster and we dont need to celebrate him anymore.

Educate, acknowledge, and be true. If we do not honor Hitler then we should not honor Columbus. Honor the victims, not the victors.

Christopher Columbus was a rapist and murderer, and has no business having a holiday named after him...he NEVER set foot on North America and where he DID land, he carried out genocide! Anyone fighting for someone like THAT to have a holiday, seriously need to think about their morals

I’m Italian and do not support Columbus Day in any way. I’m 100% on board with the town removing it from schools.
