Keep Concordia Intramural Hockey Games at 1.5 Hours!


Fellow players,


This petition serves to voice our desire to keep Concordia intramural hockey games at 1.5 hours each, in contrast to the league's proposed change to shorten games to 1 hour.

This past summer, the university operated a league using the 1 hour game format. The pilot revealed several problems. The major ones being:


·very few teams registered

·game attendance rate was significantly below norm and finding spares nearly impossible

·many of the games were cut short from the three 10 minute stop time periods, resulting in an outing that was barely worth the drive (let alone at the currently proposed later times)


Please sign this petition to let the league know that shortening the games would result in a seriously impoverished offer to its users:
