Supernatural is a CW network show currently in its 6th Season. It is about two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, who were trained by their father John to hunt creatures such as ghosts and demons after their mother Mary was killed by a mysterious force when Sam was a baby. From there its storyline expanded to include a variety of arcs, including the Apocalypse in Season 4 and 5.  

We, the fans of this show, have been incredibly loyal and supportive. We recently helped Supernatural win the cover of TV Guide, and are always fighting for more publicity.  

The greatest events for Supernatural fans are the conventions that Creation Entertainment creates across the world to allow the fans to meet and talk with the stars of their favorite show. It is greatly appreciated by the fans and those who can go have a blast.

Unfortunately, not all fans get this opportunity, whether it is because of money, location, and/or time. Such is the problem for people in Maine, its surrounding states, and nearby Canadian provinces.

There are plenty of people who live in these areas that would love to go to a convention but can’t for multiple reasons. There’s probably always going to be trouble with the date chosen for the convention for some people but the issues of money and location could be fixed.

By having a convention in Maine, particularly in Bangor, which is located near the center of the state, more fans would get a chance to have the convention experience.

Bangor is a small city, and much easier for townspeople of the area to maneuver in than a big city like Boston and Chicago. Therefore, this convention would attract fans from small towns. 

Another reason for having a convention in Bangor, Maine is because it would be cheaper for the people who live in the surrounding areas since they can drive there instead of flying out.

Bangor would also be cheaper for the Creation Entertainment company itself because the food and hotel costs are smaller in this city than in other US states. It is the same for those fans who travel from different countries and states to the convention.  

Bangor is not some small, insignificant city in Maine. It has one of the highest populations in the state, is near Orono [where the University of Maine is located], and has seen singers like Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson perform.  

This convention would not only attract Supernatural fans but may also attract those people who have seen Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles in other shows and movies such as Friday the 13th, My Bloody Valentine, Dark Angel, and Gilmore Girls.

Suggested time for the convention would be in the spring, summer, or autumn of 2012 or 2013, when people usually have time off and there aren’t any snow storms.
