I am writing this petition to complain about the new postal charge system and the general decline in the postal service. Please read the points below and if you agree please sign. 1. New Charges for postage are very complex, size, weight and thickness.why is the maximum thickness for 1st class 5mm when most letterboxes are over an inch in height 2. to get postage right you have to go to a post office, this proving difficult due to post office closures. if postage is wrong you are charged a £1 admin charge plus the excess postage, we feel that this admin charge is excessie and unfair. 3. Missing post is on the increase and the post offices service to deal with this is useless. Where is the missing post going 4. Post that needs to be collected from the sorting office suffers from excessive delays from the date it is post marked to the time the card comes through the letter box. example an item Post marked on the 16th june the collection card was received on the 22nd of june, a delay of 6 days we feel this is unacceptable.
