The British heavy metal band Iron Maiden has not toured Oklahoma since January of 1987, leaving many fans disappointed in future tours. In almost 23 years, Oklahoma has brought in numerous metal acts, including Metallica, Pantera, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, and etc. Also, the new BOK Center in Tulsa has attracted a few of these groups as well. I attended a few of these shows and they sold very well. My point is that if the mentioned groups can sell well in Oklahoma, then Iron Maiden can too. Remember, Oklahoma has also hosted the classic metal festival Rocklahoma 3 years in a row now.  So if you would like to see Iron Maiden play in Oklahoma on their next tour, sign the petition and pass the word along! Time is short: this may be one of their last tours!
