Please make this mess to stop!!! We must continue to enforce zoning laws in our neighborhoods. Otherwise we will need to find a different place.

As indians these people should respect the natural habitat and riparian zone and not clear the land for buildings on this site.

Zoning laws apply to all. The vast majority of the land is a Floodway of the Ramapo River (the river does flow through it during floods). To operate an unsanitary transient campground there is not just a safety concern it is harmful to the land and water.

I am a former resident of Halifax road and the Zoning MUST be enforced in order to preserve the habitat. The Land was gifted to the Jackson Whites AKA RLN who are seeking to receive the benefits of native Americans even though they are absolutely not native Americans!

“If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it.” That’s what the RLN has been doing, and unfortunately too many people have been taken in. This has nothing to do with the first amendment. It has nothing to do with protesting the Pipeline. The fact is the only victims here are the homeowners who have had their private community taken over by a group of individuals who have no regard for the law, the environment, their neighbors or doing what is right. We hope the town and courts will restore what it right and remove these lawbreakers from our midst.

There is no suppression of religious liberties going on. Recent criminal activity by senior leadership and associates of the Lenape community clearly demonstrates their intent, character and lack of credibility. They are doing a disservice to their community and disrespecting the law under the false premise of protecting the environment and expressing their religious beliefs , which everyone in Mahwah supports. Most, if not all, of the 95 Halifax visitors are not Mahwah residents so do not contribute to the tax revenue, however, siphon off a significant amount of municipal services such as police and sanitation. Mahwah, the county and the state will do the right thing and enforce the rules we all have to follow.

This has got to stop. Gun wielding strangers walking our streets in what used to be this lovely and safe place to raise a family. This is a joke. The township and county (and state) need to make this right by the tax paying citizens of this neighborhood. This cannot go one. And the man that was arrested is a "water protector"? He protects the water by vandalizing our signs, bridge, and historic lights and throws these things in the river? How is that "protecting" the water? Dumping trash and sewage in the river? How is that "protecting" the water. These people need to be removed from this land and never allowed back.

This situation is unacceptable and has reached a point where mutual understanding and compromise does not work,especially if the residents feel threatened for their safety and for the natural environment. The town must enforce existing laws to ensure the safety of the town residents. The area is also frequented by Ramapo college students, hikers and joggers from nearby areas. This abuse of the the land affects everyone. The town need to enforce the zoning laws.
