Watching the stories you all have shared in the comments reminds me exactly why this fight is necessary. Reading through these accounts of what Mahershala has endured is painful but it keeps my resolve strong. I am currently reaching out to local representatives to ensure this cycle of violence does not continue.

Seeing this groundswell of support has been overwhelming because I know what Mahershala has endured. It gives me hope to see so many people acknowledging the cruelty he faces. We are finally proving that this kind of hate has no place in our world.
