I love mtg art, the world crafting to the overall feel of the world. It would surely be nice to have a set Magic art collection. It would be inspiring and a means of motivation for many artists out there.

Beyond gameplay, it is the art and storyline that form the background to the magic universes we play within. Let us celebrate the art seperately from the game in the same way that the storyline is allowed to live beyond the gameplay.

I have a binder purely of cards that I think have beautiful art. This binder is just for looking. I like to look at pretty cards, and this is how I do it. I would buy something better in a heartbeat.
