I have started this petition to stand up to our congressmen and women who are leading this country down the wrong path. Signing a gay rights bill days before Christmas and while we have men and women in war is disrespectful, a morale buster and morally unjust. Apparently voting out people in our congress didn't work so well, so, I am going to try another approach. This petition is designed to keep gay rights out of the Marine Corps. I don't like the don't ask don't tell law either, but I would rather reinstate that law then what is coming. I want as many signatures I can get and I will ensure they go to my local congressmen or woman either by e-mail or I can make physical copies and I will tote them down to my state office. If the Commandant doesn't want it, Marines don't want it, and the American people don't want it, then STOP. Sign now and let's help our Marines stay strong, focused and NOT openly gay!!
