We, the players of Mafia Wars, ask that you reconsider the decisions affecting our enjoyment of game play. We feel that Mafia Wars has been changed to a tool of click revenue and no longer represents a true game. Thousands of complaints have been logged with customer support which is at best – erratic in responding. The time lag imposed on us with recording of each click is untenable. The requirement to “spam” our fellow Mafia members as well as non-Mafia member friends to fulfill crew collections is untenable. The requirement to purchase God Father aka Reward Points is untenable. The requirement imposed on us that we are only able to assist with a job 25 times in each city is untenable. The restriction of sending 30 gift request per day is untenable. We request a cease and desist on all Zynga and Mafia wars SPAM! Your current business model is poorly received and only serves your bottom line. You will begin to lose millions of players due to your continued ignorance of player’s wishes. We believe your revenue can only be increased by satisfied customers – us – the players. Revenue generated on a click basis is not long lasting and will eventually succumb to the law of diminished return. If Zynga and its affiliates wishes to remain a competitor for years to come – it must consider player satisfaction. The intention of this petition is to compel Zynga to reconsider its current marketing strategy and recommence its original intent: to provide an entertainment platform for social networking sites.
