It’s a beautiful area near the Buffalo jump. There is no place for out of country interests to have such a horrendous business of that scale in Montana!

I sincerely object to this slaughterhouse so close to the city of Great Falls because of its negative environmental, ecological, and logistical impact on the town.

Save & protect our water & air. Keep this horrible slaughterhouse out of our state. Protect the environment and the people who live here as well as the people who like to visit here.

No, because of water usage, dirty water, increased traffic, increase population, and last but not least, the lives of all thses animals. Not a good idea.

Once on a field trip, I caught just a whiff of a nearby rendering plant, and the smell was so horrible, it instantly made me feel like throwing up. To this day, that rendering plant was one of the worst things I have ever smelled in 64 years! Disgusting beyond words.

I'd rather support small local processing plants.

As a native of Great Falls, I see potential there for increased and diverse business, as long as it's done carefully and in an environmentally sustainable way. Locating a facility such as MFP Slaughterhouse near the iconic and irreplaceable Missouri River is unacceptable. There needs to be a complete Environmental Impact Statement, not just an assessment) completed to assure that the enormous consequences of an industry like this are identified and addressed for the community, and the state of Montana. Our water and lifestyle are at stake.

Feels like a terrible idea. We should be eating less meat anyway.
