I do not support the building of this slaughterhouse in our county. The damage to our environment and water will have a huge negative impact on our community.

Please do not approve the construction of this slaughterhouse. This will cause significant environmental and social damage to a beautiful community in one of the most cherished landscapes in the US.

I want our economy to grow but not at the cost of our environment! And this is not the kind of growth that we need! Technology based businesses would be a great start! Tourist attractions that help reinforce our standing in that arena. Just a couple ideas.

Please assure we have full information, including an impact study, before allowing this creation of this slaughterhouse. Our water, land, and health cannot be sacrificed for this project.

This would place an unconscionable burden on our environment, our roads, our schools and our general quality of life. A terrible blight!

This is a disaster as we have seen over and over in recent months.

This development will devastate Great Falls on so many levels. The pandemic has made it clear that these places are not safe.

The negative impact such facilities have on the health of a community is monumental in the best of times. In the time of the coronavirus pandemic, these facilities have shown themselves to be disastrous. Great Falls, and indeed the entire state of Montana, must consider the catastrophic impact such an installation would have on the "last, best place." Workers in such facilities in other parts of the country are generally imported, often illegally, leaving them open to dangerous working conditions and exploitation. We cannot allow such a work environment to return to Montana....I would have thought that we had moved away from such labor practices, given our history with the mining industry in years past. The environmental impact alone should make us wary of any industry that will be such a drain on our natural resources, but the humanitarian impact of such an industry has certainly been made abundantly clear in recent months during the pandemic.

I absolutely don't want this slaughterhouse anywhere near Great Falls to contaminate water & have rotten smells, etc. near our homes.
