We the people of Wichita, the 261st most affluent city among the 942 Metropolitan and Micropolitan cities, as identified in the Business Journal's "Affluence Rankings", do hereby request that you establish a "brick and mortar" store in Wichita. According to the rankings, our stats as to income, education, etc. are comparable to those of Sioux Falls, SD (but we have a larger population) and almost comparable to those of Albuquerque. There are a combined three Macy's stores in those fortunate locales.
We haven't been the same since you left. Actually, we have grown! We are a city of approximately 386,552 persons, a total of 500,000 persons reside within our county. We have revitalized our warehouse district and our efforts are ongoing in improving our downtown to make it more vibrant and attractive to everyone, including Millenials.
We Love Macy's and promise to shop Macy's not only online, but in the Wichita store! Thank you!

I was looking at the old storefront spot the other day and it feels so empty still even though so much time has passed. People keep telling me their own memories of shopping there and honestly it just confirms why this whole thing feels so necessary to me because we deserve a proper retail hub again. I am currently drafting a fresh letter to the corporate office to remind them that we are still waiting and watching.

I honestly cannot stop smiling because the momentum here is completely wild and it makes me think we might actually pull this off. It feels like every time I refresh the page there are more people who just get why Wichita needs a store back in the mix and I am honestly just so grateful for the energy everyone is bringing to this campaign.

I shop Macy's in EVERY big city I go to! It would be FABULOUS to shop there in my home town!
I love shopping online but would much rather shop in store like my mom had the pleasure to at my age in the same city please bring it back!
BRING MACYS BACK TO KS!! We are big enough now and keep growing every single year.
Wichita really needs a nice department store back downtown or at the mall. Tired of driving to KC just to use my rewards card.
miss the shoe department so much. nothing else in town even comes close to the selection.
