The Onyx Blackjack was released by Mackie around January 2011. It's been almost a year and proper Windows drivers for the unit (an audio interface) are still nowhere to be found.
Version 1.9 and 2.0 both carried the same big problems which are beyond any tolerance, since they basically make the product unusable to work with (even thought it is aimed at the low price target, it won't even fill those needs).
It's been some moths since Mackie said something about it for the last time and a lot of users are still waiting. The product works perfect on Mac OS, but it is advertised as compatible for Windows XP and Windows 7 as well.
Many people need this interface for work, and are losing time and money since they won't let it go because of it's great audio quality, the reason of course is that Mackie is a well known brand and people asume they can trust them. So that's why with all due respect to Mackie's good reputation we star this petition, we really believe they will provide the proper driver (since it is AN UNTHINKABLE thing to do, release a product which obviously wasn't fully tested and several moths later they still sell it without having come to a solution), but are in fact waiting too long without hearing any knews from the manufacterer.
So feel free to join this petition if you love you Blackjack enough to still own it because of it's great potential.
The lack of communication from the manufacturer remains the most frustrating aspect of our situation. Reading the stories of how this hardware failure impacts your daily work reminds me why we need a resolution. I am currently compiling these experiences to present them directly to their support team.

Seeing this community grow reinforces the fact that we are all experiencing the same frustration with the functionality of our hardware. This momentum confirms that our collective expectation for professional support from the manufacturer is both reasonable and necessary.

Please, please, please, provide a windows 10 driver. I can't get the V3.0 drivers to properly install using windows' compatibility features.
Thank you!

This is ridiculous, that a reputable company refuses to support Windows 10. If they had a new product, I could understand not supporting Windows 10 with a 6 year old product. But Mackie continues to sell the Onyx Blackjack as a new product, with a driver that only supports a 8 year old OS.

I bought this for my new Windows 10 computer. I will be returning the onyx BlackJack if I can't use it with Windows 10.

The Onyx Blackjack is a really nice piece of equipment, and I eventually got Win 7 drivers that worked pretty well. Bought a win 8.1 machine and the trouble started. Still can't get drivers. Mackie says they haven't any. Win 8 is on the way out, so I expect there won't ever be Win 8 drivers, and I suspect there won't be any for Win 9 or whatever they call it. I wrote Mackie and cried shame on them for abandoning their customers. I certainly won't be buying anything more from them
