Hi, I am a resident in MacArthur Crescent, bitterne.
Yesterday I was advised that there was a proposal to place a new road where there is currently a lovely green, with a beautiful cherry tree. And a current car park, with garages.
I am utterly supposed to this road being put in, as it's not necessary as we have adequate parking for all residence.
Our children play on the green daily, and this would just not be possible if a road was in place.
There are also a lot of wildlife here, that with a road in place, would then be gorced to relocate.
I ask that if you sldo suppose these changes, please support by signing this petition.

The council thinks they can just bulldoze our green space without anyone noticing but this momentum proves them wrong. They are clearly rattled by how many of us are refusing to let them pave over our children's play area for a road nobody asked for.

Yes leave these safe areas where children can play and let of steam alone. Sure there are enough roads in that area already
Lived there for 37 years so leave it has it is for the sack of the children please
Surely there are better things that the money could be spent on, like improving the existing roads!
shame to destroy what little green space our children get to play on .
It would be totally wrong to destroy the beautiful trees and the safe playing area that the children have
Kids need small safe green areas to play in near their homes. Not a car park.
Absolutely 1 million recent opposed! Stop ruining our beautiful countryside and killing/making our wildlife homeless. It's not right!

Not enough green spaces for the kids as it is. Let's keep what little we have left
