I think as a consumer I should have the right to used a aftermarket exhaust as long as it doesn't alter my emissions

I agree with these bills. Front plates are uneeded and aftermarket exhuasts provide better economy, durability and costs over replacement stock systems.

I love my single green plate. I want more. I also want to be able to maintain and modify my cars and trucks.

More opposed to the aftermarket exhaust ban. My motorcycle has an aftermarket system and a law like this would be ridiculous and unwarranted

Most front license plates get bent, chipped and destroyed over time. They are also a hazard to young children, as they can get hurt on the sharp edges of the plate. As far as the aftermarket exhaust, in theory, anyone who has a muffler replaced has an "aftermarket" exhaust.

This is about civil rights! It is wrong to say that we can't modify our cars. Aftermarket exhausts shouldn't be a moving violation.
