I have a med card in mass they took my kids because I relapsed while my husband was dying of small cell lung cancer. We just had our son found out 2 weeks later he had small cell lung cancer. I have a medical card I have a apartment and it doesn't

We should be there for our veterans as they have been there for us. Service members should not be discarded once their service is finished

There is so much data in support of this measure but two should stick out , the first being veterans lose their lives to overdose two times the national average ( DAV 2020), and the success rate in treatment of PTSD in veterans and civilians .

I'm signing for my father who coped with alcohol for his ptsd from war. He served most of his waking life and passed away 5 years after retiring. There needs to be more options for veterans available that are natural alternatives rather than feeding them substances that numb the problem but don't allow them to heal and confront their pain.

So many veterans have a hard time going to doctors, let alone ANOTHER new doctor. If this can be avoided , just by using the already defined illness / condition then more vets will get better treatment. The VA is not very likely to keep a veteran on pain medication for long term care, yet the pain doesn't go away just because the medication does!! Personally, 15+ years on the "triangle of drugs" that the VA has now figured out are bad for you, yet nothing to replace it going forward us not a good scenario!
