I fully support the petition and initiative. Something needs to be done.

Only the odd truck stops at the designated stop street to engage a lower gear. Often trucks hog all the lanes.

The M7 is becoming a death trap. Truck drivers who are unfamiliar with the road are the most dangerous. The road seems easy to drive on but it's quirky so people tend to flip or loose control of their cars or motorbikes more easily then on other roads. I have lived in Malvern for 35 years and know of this happening. The road is not in good condition because of the heavy trucks which doesn't help the situation.

Yes I agree 100%. I go on that route every morning. Over the years the accidents have gotten worse by the M7

This is an amazing idea. And i support the call for law enforcement, drivers training and accountability by owners to ensure roadworthy vehicles are used.

Curb reckless driving.

Truckers do not stop at the compulsory Stop at Bellville bridge before descending to the N2 and no law enforcement in sight.

Regular carnage on the M7 - speeding trucks not using mandatory stop by Belleville bridge. I’ll- disciplined drivers with complete disregard for road traffic rules- Owners need to held accountable by larger fines and impounding the vehicles for a period that will ensure punitive financial hardship as a lesson to be learnt and a future deterrent against doing as they please!

Poor road maintenance, pots holes that damages the cars and wheels... When will the road be roadworthy for cars?

Heavy motor vehicles should be driven in a dedicated lane and only during stipulated times outside of peak times. They shouldn't be allowed on freeways and highways
