I had the same promblem the clutch went out and one of the screws of in the clutch plate lock up the transmisson cost me $2000.00 0ut of pocket suzuki needs to fix this under recall

07 M109r clutch shuddering issue. Taken it to have the issue resolved at the dealership and spent $2000.00 trying to fix the issue and the issue was never resolved. This needs to be resolved. I don't believe it's a safety issue per say however it is very annoying.

had my 9 from new ,had the judder from new told by dealer there was no cure, now being there is a suzuki reccomended cure by drilling more oil ways in the clutch basket but it will cost me $500 to fix this should be paid for by suzuki

I just spent 5,200.18 dollars to get my bike fix. I bought it brand with no miles on the bike. I have had the clutch no dis-engaged once, once I pulled in the clutch handle, and I've had ignition problems once the key is turn on to start. I feel Suzuki should have a recall and stand being a bike that has cause major accidents. As I was in one already!

I just spent 5,200.18 dollars to get my bike fix. I bought it brand with no miles on the bike. I bought my 9 about 6 months ago, it had 2600 miles on it ,it's an 08 so I was pleased with the low miles. In the back of my mine I was sceptical, well 2nd day felt this awful shuddering in 1st taking off,and at times a sort of tearing sound,definitely not good,so I took it back to dealer and they adjusted clutch but didn't change. Then I got to researching and wow everybody is dealing w it. So it's in the shop now getting some new kit that's supposed to fix it ,$750 worth, come to find out Suzuki has a tighter spring they can put in there that sometimes works, well once the guys got in there that kit was already in,now see y old owner traded it in....something has got to be done.........

I have a 2008 m109r, bought new the original owner. It has just over 12,000 miles... I have been experiencing a random shutter, mostly off the line but also randomly while riding for the last 2000 miles... the transmission locked up briefly once for a few seconds. Riding solo I am fine, but am scared to take my wife or kids on rides. WE NEED A FIX!!!

2008 c109 7000 miles .clutch shudder . I am the second owner.

Bought a 2009 M109R a year ago (4100 Miles on it). At 7000 miles now, clutch grabs when it is cold. Goes away after couple shifts, but now clutch is noisy in all gears.

I am shocked and disappointed as a long time Suzuki fan. The M1800R was my dream bike. Now I have one, I'm not confident riding it and it get's left in the garage pending our decision to chuck no doubt big money at some dealer. Very, very sad
