It is extremely unfair to give the printed lecture notes in French to the students in the classes taught in French, and to let the foreign students print the English version themselves, with their own money.

Course packs in physical form are essential for a successful learning process. Given the extraordinarily high printing costs at HEC, the learning experience suffers a lot because students are not willing to spend hundreds of euros on printing on top of tens of thousands in tuition fees.

It's not only Corporate Finance. A course pack for Company Law is also of fundamental importance, since the provided PDFs are only raw scans. Thus it's not even possible to take notes or highlight text while deciphering it.

Environment should not be just an excuse for shifting costs on the students

Zero-printing is apparently not implemented by all departments as we received 200 pages of Strategy cases studies. If we can have this printed why not Corporate Finance course pack?

This is the wrong place to save money. We pay higher tuition fees than all the years before us, and now we're required to pay for our own print?? This is ridiculous!

Printing is really expensive in HEC, we already paid our tuition, and the other financial classes can prepare course pack, for example Financial Economics and Financial Markets, why not corporate finance??

If it's open book we Will be printing anyway, so in that case we are not helping the environment with this policy.
