Would like to use the park more but it is not fit for purpose. Would also like to see more done for disabled children

Better drainage required and maintained better as water got high due to building stuff and cut reefs blocking the stream.

I personally think that the park needs to change. They need to take out the grass and put in something better.

After visiting my grand children and trying to access the park from Lupin Close , which was extremely muddy and slippery I totally agree with the points raised.

I'd use the park more if it wasnt so muddy. Generally i go over to emersons park which has propper flooring. Lyde park us unuseable in winter. The access to it from lupin ... the muddy slope is also dangerous and then a huge puddle in front of the park even has tadpoles in it! It all needs sorting!

My son has had many accidents slipping over of the hard surface as when this is wet it becomes very slippery, also it would be nice to access the park all year round but this it impossible at the moment due to mud!!

We pay enough to South Glos Council and Green Square for them to provide a safe and enjoyable play area for our children.

Such a shame a new play park has been created that doesn’t meet the needs of all its users. Terrible drainage and surfacing make it unusable.

The safety and standard of the park needs to be improved.

The park is so muddy that children cannot play. It has already attracted anti social behaviour and this is likely because it is so enclosed. Such a shame as would be an asset to the community.

I never use it because it is unsuitable for my children to play in.

The park is not currently fit for purpose, much of it is unusable for much of the year due to poor drainage,

The park isn’t currently fit for purpose as it cannot be used in many circumstances. I also question why there are no railings when there are roads, dogs and a water course nearby.

Can't use the park very often as it's usually muddy and soggy long after the rain.

Its a mess when raining mud and puddles everywhere. Its a great park but the ground work obviously wasnt thought through. They no that ground water drainage is a problem in this area. Keeping everything crossed it will be sorted asap so the children of Lyde Green can get some use of it. We try to aviod it now due to it being a mud bath.
