There is enough room in the cafeteria for a full lunch period that doesn't require a specific study hall time. Also, lunch is the only time students get to relax and socialize and we can't do either of those things if we're stuck in a no-talking, no-eating study hall. The system worked fine before, there's no need to change it.

Reasons to Change Lunch:
1. It wastes time to switch completely into different rooms.
2. People like to eat during both halves and will not have the opportunity to due to the shortened period and mandatory switch to a room where they can not finish lunch.
3. The noise level in the cafe has always been low enough for people to be able to work during either half of the period in the cafe.
4. It's easier to work together and study with the general study hall in the cafe.
5. Long lines may force some kids to try to eat in their study hall rooms, making a mess and a nuisance.
6. There is not enough time to buy and eat a full lunch and go to the bathroom since we can't go during study hall.
8. The switching of students disrupts full period study hall students.
9. Study hall students are in close proximity at small desks and have less room to work than in the cafe.

By the time we actually sit down and eat we have less than 15 minutes how are we supposed to "GBED" on empty stomachs and no social time?

FINALLY!!! I have barley enough time to eat my lunch by the time I sit down. I'm a growing boy and need my full nutrition to grow big and strong. And on a side note, all of my friends are in period 5a for lunch while I'm in 5b and that makes me sad.

This new lunch needs to go. Students have no where near enough time to eat the amount of food that they are used to and in this rush students loose the social time that we have enjoyed in the past system

By the time I make it through the line and go sit down to eat my food I have under 15 minutes to eat. It takes the average human about 30 to eat. This is unjust. Change it.

We are getting treated like middle schoolers and it's ridiculous! Students should get a fair amount of time to socialize with all the hard work we're putting in the classroom.
