(KY147AF). I fully support this asset transfer. I have seen Lucky Ewe out and about at events such as the Fife Show. Speaking to their highly motivated staff and volunteers, it is clear that this organisation are fulfilling their objectives, are effectively managed, and are doing a lot of good for disempowered people in the community. I can’t think of a more community-focused, appropriate use for this land, and the ease of accessibility will be tremendously useful.

Lucky Ewe has benefited many of our pupils with additional support needs at Auchmuty High School. it has provided them with an opportunity to develop their life skills as well as learning other new skills. It has had such a positive impact.

In my official capacity as treasurer of Howe Of Fife Rotary I would like to add our clubs support to the Lucky Ewe petition to lease public land at Stratheden. Our club is formed of local farmers as well as a diverse range of local people who are delighted to have Lucky Ewe as an associate. We have been impressed by the work done at Lucky Ewe and know gaining this land will not only allow the charity to grow but will also be seen as a boost to our local community in terms of mental health provision for people with additional needs and heightening wellbeing of volunteers and interns alike. The regeneration and diversity they propose to bring to the public land at Stratheden can only enhance an otherwise disused public asset. We have already given them grant aid and also sponsored the purchase of a Ram to increase the flock. We continue to support Lucky Ewe and involve them in our yearly fundraiser.

As a former vet and now counsellor I work with clients with special needs, often practicing canine assisted work. The connection with animals and nature is so empowering, This would be extremely worthwhile

Keep up the good work. This is excellent. I know the problems dealing with people requiring additional support as my granddaughter requires help.
