The CIS flag hanging in our Parliament is an insult to our sovereignty and a symbol of colonial dependence that belongs in the past. We are sick of these bureaucrats hiding behind thin diplomatic excuses while they keep us tethered to a failed ex-Soviet space. We will not stop until this affront to our national identity is stripped from every public building.

The momentum behind this petition proves that citizens are sick of having our national dignity insulted by the presence of the CIS flag in our halls of power. We are showing these politicians that we will no longer tolerate the visual symbols of our subservience to a decaying political relic.
