The volume of support has reached a level that requires a formal response from the district office. I am currently finalizing a meeting request with the school board to present our case against the proposed dress code change. Expect an update regarding their availability once I receive official confirmation.

Total nonsense. You try diving for a ball in baggy gym shorts and see how well you do. it's called a sport for a reason.
leave the uniforms alone. volleyball is a fast sport and they need the right gear to move properly. focus on the education not the shorts
Seriously? Maybe the principal needs to find something better to do with his time. Let them wear what they need to play.
Are you kidding me? It is spandex, it is a sport uniform. Let the girls play without worrying about their shorts.
Let them play. It's an athletic uniform, not a fashion statement.

This is ridiculous. It has been the uniform for years. stop trying to control what these girls wear while they are playing athletics.
