On behalf of the eighth grade class of 2018, we want a flag football game against our teachers. Some of us have been waiting our entire school lives for this event. We understand why our teachers are hesitant about having a flag football game. However, we, the students feel that those that have qualified for the four star party deserve to take part in this annual tradition as those of us who did qualify, have behaved ourselves well, and worked extremely hard just to have our efforts be in vain.

This should be something we earn for all of our hard work and effort we put on the year
Every grade every other year has had it and it is unfair that we wont so i think we should have it.
I've waited for this event since kindergarten, I believe that this years eighth grade should have a turkey bowl.
I have waited for this moment my entire life, and you cannot just take this away form me, no, not from me, from the entire eighth grade!

Although we know that the turkey bowl is a privilege and not a right we feel as though there are people in our grade who have been working hard and been waiting for this moment. as a group of 8th graders, we are viewed as poorless, damaging students, but individual there are some who have been working hard and been waiting for this moment. we have some great excellent students who should be rewarded and shown appreciation to.
