I agree with you all that reduction in Medical Benefit should be abolished. Please take it up with the CEO of LR. I may add here that LR has always looked after the staff. I feel proud to have worked for LR.

While I am in possession of the proposed (Adopted?) changes in the personal insurance policies of general pensioners, I would agree to the contents of the message in overall situation. I wonder though, if an individual pensioner can comment on the LR’s financial responsibilities in the absence of any concrete data in this regard.

Grossly unfair to burden the pensioners at their time of need - not expected from LR

I hope LR will reconsider their decision to dilute medical insurance terms. New terms will hurt pensioners badly in the circumstances.

I served LR for 33 years with pride in the knowledge that the organisation stood for integrity and credibility in the Industry. I left no stone unturned in propagating this aspect at every level of interaction with clients. I am stunned to learn that Regional Management has surreptitiously changed the terms of medical insurance without even taking the retirees into confidence? This is nothing short of “Breach of Trust”. The Regional Management can not be allowed to take such steps which will ultimately hurt LR REPUTATION as injustices of this sort sooner or later do come to the knowledge of Industry leaders.

The memorandum of settlement signed by me and LR on 26/7/2016 clearly mentions the post retirement benefit " Mediclaim Hospitalisation Insurance" for me and my spouse after retirement would be ₹750000 and no where it has been mentioned of co-payment nor about LR retaining the right to change the policy.

For an organization that has prided itself on its values, which once believed in the tag line ’Life Matters’ , don’t know now what compulsions have forced the decision makers to take these decisions on us. As CEO of the organization, you will understand that LR’s long history has been built on its values, principles, by adding value to society, not just making temporal monetary savings. We collectively are still true ambassadors of the organization and having lived its values, are the face of LR. While we wish LR a glorious future, what we certainly would not like to see is an erosion of the values it was built on.

Pension received is not sufficient to care of my medical expenses. As you are well aware I have a special child to take care.
