I am a 24 year old woman with 2 young children who has found out i have severe pre-cancerous cells which are currently being treated, if i hadn't of picked up on the signs and gone to the doctors in the first place i would of been waiting another year for a test and what would the result of been then?? I want to raise awareness to other young girls who may have the same symptoms i did to please go to a doctor and get checked out. I believe the age should be lowered for a test and women who have children should be tested at least 6 months after having a baby, i feel the age restriction is now behind the times and they need to realise women are starting families younger and need to be checked out.
