When an American citizen turns 18, they are given a huge responsibility of becoming an adult. As an adult, you are entitled to basic rights and you are punished more severely when you break the law. Drinking alcohol should not be an exception. I believe that lowering the drinking age will better our country as a whole, and will keep dangerous drinking environments at a minimum. This is one of the most pointless and ineffective laws that our government has ever tried to enforce. Please sign this petition in support of the cause of lowering the drinking age back to 18 years old.
