Do not know what the qualifications
are for speed tables, but based on
what I’ve seen the people who tend
to speed are going to continue
to do so unless there is something
physical to slow them down ,
either scheduled police presence
which is probably not possible,or
speed tables.Shady Oaks is a prime
example

The max safe speed should be 10 or 15. Or use all-way-stops at every intersection.

This is a great neighborhood, with great families living in it. It does serve the local communities as one of the only public beach access with available public parking. There have been many circumstances in which people who don’t understand how tight the street gets, due to the over crowded parking, will drive seemingly recklessly as they are simply going the speed limit.
Lowering the speed limit, or even adding speed bumps will save someone’s life

People speed in my neighborhood all the time as well and they finally started monitoring and putting speed traps after a petition around the neighborhood was started. Hope this helps!!

No reason for the speed limit to be higher than 15 MPH.

Speed tables would be a great addition and the over-arching plan. This is just the first step to try and get it done by the city.

Streets are simply too narrow especially with parking on both sides for the current speed limit

Wholeheartedly concur. This speed limit will better protect the citizens in this neighborhood as well as the numerous visitors who access the beach through this neighborhood. Recommend the city pursue measures, including speed bumps, to better mitigate the risks to this this community.
