Lower the minor age for Business Owners
High school students are constantly asked, "What will you do once you graduate?" and most will say that they are going to college. I feel that college is important, but there should be ways to adventure your passions on your own. The best way for someone to do this is to start a small business. The only problem is that students under the age of 18 cannot own a business. People have gotten around this by have a parent or guardian start the business. There are two problems that I see with this:
1. Some students do not have trustworthy parents and may not feel comfortable with this.
2. The parents are now responsible if the student no longer runs the business. They will be responsible for repaying any and all loans the business made.
We need to lower the minimum age requirements to 16 years of age as at this point the students have become more mature and can experiment in new opportunities.
