This exam overall past question 13 was far too hard. I gave some of the questiosn to my a level friend and she couldnt even answer them! Edexcel, significantly lower these grade boundaries before you have half od the nations childrens with fails and a huge upraul. now.

Edexcel included some very difficult questions in the recent GCSE paper which were unbelievably hard to answer...thus my belief on the grade boundaries being lowered to give everyone a fair chance!

It was so unfair that we were tested so harshly this year in comparison to other years. Get these grade boundaries lowered.

It's a shame that nearly 36,000 people are so petty about failing a maths question that they feel the need to pressure the exam board. How dare they try and make the exam actually challenging. It was a hard question for GCSE level, but it was by no means unsolvable, as shown by the countless amounts of people who DID manage to work it out.

Yes, I agree that the boundaries should be lowered, it would be unfair if they don't lower the boundary.

Maths is my weak subject I prefere English but I revised really hard for this exam from the start of year 11,constantly doing past paper and acheaved a D grade to a middle grade B which is an achievement for me. Now I think I've got a F because of that hard maths paper!!!! My revision has gone to a waste I hate you edexcel. Not only has it disappointed me but it's also going to be an embarrassment for my family about me unable to pass maths. Education is important huh?isn't that what everyone brags on about Yh only if the tests are possible to anwer. I HATE YOU.

The second half of the paper was ridiculous, seriously decreased my self esteem now.

This paper is not fair for people who even aiming for grade c's. So it would be reasonable to lower the grade boundaries as the questions were very mean and did not make sense.
