The grade boundary has to be lowered as both the papers were extremely difficult

I found the exam quite hard and strongly agree that the grade boundaries should be lowered to actually give people hope that they have past their maths GCSE

i really do agree the grade boundaries should be lowered for this paper. Many of us worked hard throughout the year with our revison etc to come to this extremely difficult exam.

I took both edexcel maths exams and I've never done any mocks that were that difficult. Both exams made me cry and the second one even made me have a panic attack. I now feel like I've failed everyone by doing so badly and I'm dreading the exam results.

Paper 1H was complicated in some aspects for a GCSE student; I hope Edexcel takes in favour that we're just 15, 16 year old who wants to achieve well in life; edexcel made a statement that the paper 1H was a paper in order to test our capabilities and abilities and that it was written by members and teachers who have deep understanding of the subject; well we're just an average 15, 16 year olds who doesn't have the knowledge of a respected member/ teacher working for Edexcel. In addition, I would also like to include that we should deserve having a lower grade boundary because in 2010, the grade boundaries were shocking low:
2010 grade boundaries:
A* = 157
A= 120
B= 83
C= 46
D= 23
I really do hope that Edexcel do take the students (canditates) concerns and lower the grade boundaries. I feel like they can do so much more to help thousands of young people out throughout the country and not just state that they'll mark the papers fairly.

This paper has been significantly more difficult than papers in previous years. Not only the infamous sweets question, but many others in addition. Even A* and A grade candidates are making slip ups and losing marks on this disproportionately difficulty paper. I ask Edexcel to consider the difficulty of their paper when setting their grade boundries, if necessary lowering them.
