The grade boundaries should be low as many student who took this test didn't get taught majority of the topics that appeared . It's not fair for the exam to contain questions that link to a level while they are still in yr11 . In addition it's also not fair for the grade boundaries to be so high as many students had difficulties during the test due to the fact that they didn't get taught the topics that was contained in the test. GCSE should be a testing what you have learnt not what you are going to learn .

Why was the maths paper so different from past papers?
Where where the simultaneous equations and the recipe questions?

This test paper was ridiculously hard. I worked hard to improve my maths skills this year and feel like it was a huge waste of time after this paper. I understand the questions are designed to challenge students and apply their knowledge to real-life circumstances but the context and wording of many of the questions in this paper were frankly nonsensical and ridiculous. Its almost as though Edexcel wanted me to fail rather than to show my friends, family and teachers the fruits of my hard work throughout the year. Congratulations Edexcel.

Edexcel maths and geography were ridiculous! The grade boundaries should be lower than last year for sure!

The exam must have lower grade boundaries. The exam was too difficult an it's absolutely awful to see myself and other students who took this exam be upset with the results
