Very difficult and badly worded questions

Why was it so god damn hard?! I revised so much and it was all irrelevant, I mean Hannah and her sweets! How is that related to n2-n-90=0 hey?? You do that paper and then tell me the grade boundaries don't need lowering!

Thanks to this exam I am now more or less guaranteed to NOT get an A* in maths so I guess all my hard over the past few months has amounted to nothing... the exam board don't care about effort though do they? In all the past papers i did i always got around 82-95 marks but on this one i'll be lucky to get 70 :\
