this exam was excruciatingly hard even for someone that is in top set maths and doing 8 hours of mathematics in school hours each week

I was very upset when I read through the questions on the Edexcel Maths paper. It was very difficult and I found many questions extremely challenging, some even impossible. I've never been exceptionally good at maths but my target was an A, in my mocks I got a B and was very happy because I have over 50 marks however I have counted the marks from today's paper and expect no more than 35. Awful paper.

The paper was really hard and shouldn't have been that hard! Some people are even saying some questions were A Level worthy questions this is just not acceptable! We're doing GCSE NOT A LEVEL. To lower the boundaries would be amazing.

I also think they were harder than all the past papers and i agree that the examiners should be generous and the grade boundaries should be lowered.
