I couldn't agree more. This exam proved to be much more difficult than past papers I have done

Basically nobody in my Year 11 class knew how to do at least three of the questions. Our maths teacher had trouble doing it. If it's near damn impossible to do some, then the boundaries must be lowered.

I did find the paper extremely difficult compared to any passed papers I've done

There was a level questions within in the paper that were ridiculously hard! Needs to be lowered

This exam was indeed appaling, very harsh questions. Grade boundaries need to be lowered and examiners need to be generous with marks

I believe it is completely unfair to spend years studying topics which I am fully prepared for and capable of doing to be judged by one extremely surprising exam paper. Questions for subjects which have not been taught, learnt or revised by anyone. This does not mean we are incapable at achieving good grades in maths but simply cannot be expected to know questions which are more advanced than what we are taught at gcse level. We should be tested on a knowledge of subjects we are taught therefore as half of this exam paper no body knew the grade boundaries should be lowered as it is completely unfair for people to miss out on further education due to having no gcse in maths and having to spend a year preparing again to re take it.

I believe it is completely unfair to spend years studying topics which I am fully prepared for and capable of doing to be judged by one extremely surprising exam paper. Questions for subjects which have not been taught, learnt or revised by anyone. This does not mean we are incapable at achieving good grades in maths but simply cannot be expected to know questions which are more advanced than what we are taught at gcse level.
