The questions at the end were too hard and that's why the grade boundary should be lowered. We don't want to get the grade because there were questions that no one learnt about or were completely out of context.

This year's maths exams were nothing like those from the previous years. We all use previous papers to revise and the style of question this year was dreadful - poor wording and badly devised exam all round. I was predicted an A and will be lucky if I can scrape a B. Edexcel are jeopardising students' futures. After paper 1 many people were thrown off track and under performed on paper 2. You should be ashamed Edexcel - sort it out!!!!

When I have been practising past papers from previous years for edexcel higher maths the questions have been capable enough for others and I to answer but this years paper 1 was atrocious and I agree that the grade boundaries should be lowered and the examiners should mark them nicely on our behalf

This year's non- calculator exam questions have been very appalling, I strongly suggest Edexcel to lower the grade boundaries and be very genourous when marking it. I was one out of millions of year 11 students that found this as shocking as I did.
