The questions were too advanced for people targeted a C which means those who are targeted a C are less likely to pass which means having to retake it and I think that's unfair due to it being edexcels fault for making the questions to advanced.

I believe that involving questions that are 'used to test a wide range of mathematical abilities' is a poor excuse by Edexcel to involve questions that the majority of people taking the exam(s) simply can't do. I spoke to a teacher recently who was actually the invigilator for both of my recent maths gcse exams and she confided in me that despite the fact that she had previously taught level 2 maths herself even she couldn't do the infamously difficult 'sweets in a bag question' and couldn't "understand it for the life of me". I feel that these exam results are more important than ever for the future of my economically deprived generation and as soon as examining boards like edexcel realise just how foolhardy they've been the better. Furthermore, I feel that making gcses such as maths harder is nothing short of a huge insult to the thousands (if not millions) of students nationwide who work incredibly hard (frankly including myself) to pass their maths gcse, especially since like me many people struggle with maths and find it a difficult (and not to mention boring) subject to succeed in. The maths exams are nothing short of unfair; edexcel must insure that the grade boundaries are lowered considerably for the June 2015 gcse maths exams and extremely difficult questions should be removed from future exams.

upset with the amount of questions I was incapable of doing. All my friends found it very hard, and unfair because of how much work and revision we have been doing.
